Pazo de Lourizán is a theatrical Galician estate outside Pontevedra, with a grand staircase, romantic facade, and gardens that make it feel half aristocratic residence, half botanical escape. It is one of the more photogenic stops near the city.
The building's access can be limited, but the grounds are the main reason to go. Pair it with Pontevedra's old quarter for a good contrast between urban granite streets and leafy estate architecture.
