Tui's old town is small enough to explore in a few hours, but rewards slow walking. The cathedral and its fortified exterior, the medieval streets winding down toward the river, and the views from the hilltop over the Miño and into Portugal are the core of any visit. For walkers, Monte Aloia natural park is just outside town, and the Camino Portugués passes through the main square.
