Stadsparken is Lund's central park, a broad green space southwest of the old town where students, families and office workers all seem to end up when the weather behaves. It has ponds, old trees, lawns and enough paths to make it useful as both a shortcut and a destination.
It is not Lund's most historic sight, but it rounds out the city well. After the cathedral, university buildings and museums, the park shows the everyday side of Lund: picnics, runners, children by the water and long summer evenings that feel very Swedish in the best low-key way.
