Eating Out

The Engadin valley has its own cuisine, heavier and heartier than what you will find in lowland Switzerland. Raclette and fondue are everywhere, and the proximity of Lake St. Moritz means fresh fish appears on many menus. Most hotels have their own restaurants, but it is worth venturing out to the independent places in the village. Make sure to try Engadin nut tart, a local specialty made with caramelized walnuts.
