Dragon Hall

Dragon Hall is a restored medieval trading hall near the River Wensum, built for merchant Robert Toppes in the 15th century. Its long timber hall was designed to impress visiting traders, and it remains one of the clearest surviving reminders of Norwich's medieval wealth.

Access is more limited than at Norwich's larger museums, but guided openings are worthwhile if the timing works. Pair it with the Museum of Norwich and the lanes around King Street for a stronger sense of the city's trading past.
