Ashness Bridge is a small traditional stone bridge on the single-track road toward Watendlath. Its appeal is the classic Lake District composition: stone, water, woodland, and views back toward Derwentwater.
It is a short photo stop rather than a long visit, but it fits easily into a drive or walk through Borrowdale.
