Windsor is dominated, geographically and culturally, by its castle. Everything else in the town — the Long Walk through the park, Eton across the river, the Thames itself — fans out from the great stone walls on the hill. Allow a full day for the castle and chapel, and a half-day for the park and a walk over to Eton. A few literary curiosities (the shortest street in England, the Crooked House) make the in-between time interesting.
