Huntingdon Hall is Worcester's main concert venue, housed in a remarkable Perpendicular Gothic building that was originally the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion chapel, built in 1804. The interior retains its gallery, the original plasterwork, and the elegant proportions of a Georgian nonconformist chapel — making it an unusually atmospheric place to hear music.
The venue hosts classical recitals, jazz, folk, and world music, as well as comedy and spoken word. The acoustic is highly regarded for chamber music in particular. The hall is on Crowngate and is easy to find in the city centre; check the programme online as events vary considerably through the season.
