Getting Around

Hull's centre is small enough to walk almost everywhere. From Paragon Station to The Deep is a 20-minute stroll along the Marina; the Old Town and Museums Quarter sit between them. Most useful sights are within a 1.5 km radius of Queen Victoria Square.

For places further out — Pearson Park, East Park, the University, the Humber Bridge — local buses run frequent services. East Yorkshire and Stagecoach operate the network from Paragon Interchange. A single zone day ticket is the simplest option. Cycling is comfortable on the flat city streets, and a public hire scheme operates from racks at the station, the Marina, and outside The Deep. Taxis are plentiful but Uber does not operate; book locally instead.
