Things to Do

Hull is a walking city. The Old Town and Marina are compact, and almost every major sight sits within a 15-minute stroll of the Marina basin. Start with the Museums Quarter on High Street — four free museums in a row — then loop back through the cobbled lanes to Holy Trinity (now Hull Minster), the Land of Green Ginger, and Trinity Market for lunch. The Deep, Hull's signature aquarium, anchors the eastern edge where the River Hull meets the Humber. Allow a full day for the centre and at least half a day for the parks and outlying neighbourhoods if you have the time.
