Sheffield's food scene punches above its weight, with strong independents clustered around Kelham Island and along Ecclesall Road. The big draw is the Cutlery Works food hall in a converted cutlery factory, but for serious cooking head to The Milestone or one of the Ecclesall Road bistros. Sunday roasts are taken seriously across the city; the gastropubs of Crookes and Nether Edge are reliably good.
