Arduaine Garden is a National Trust for Scotland garden on the coast south of Oban, laid out with woodland paths, sea views, and a strong collection of rhododendrons and other west-coast plantings. It is at its best in late spring and early summer, when the colour in the garden is at full strength.
This is a quiet, slower stop rather than a headline sight. It suits travellers driving the coastal road toward Kilmartin or Lochgilphead who want a green break with views over the Sound of Jura.
