St. Paul's Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral of the Diocese of the Cariboo and the oldest standing church in Kamloops, built in 1887 in pale wood with a tall central spire and a row of pointed-arch windows in the Gothic Revival mode. It is a modest building — closer to a parish church than to a European cathedral — but appealing on its own terms.
The interior retains its original wooden pews and a small set of stained glass windows. Sunday morning services are held year-round; the cathedral is otherwise usually open on weekday mornings for visitors. It sits on St. Paul Street in the centre of downtown, an easy combination with a walk down Victoria Street and a visit to the museum.
