Stiefel is a beer hall in the European tradition installed in a Victorian building in Barrio Amón. The house draught beers are brewed on site and the selection rotates, but there is always a lager, a dark, and something seasonal. The clientele is a mix of local professionals and international visitors who have found their way from the nearby boutique hotels. The kitchen serves substantial Germanic food — sausages, schnitzel, pretzels — that pairs well with the beer.
The outdoor terrace under the old trees is particularly good on warm evenings. It can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights after about 9pm.
