Warner's, the bar inside the Fort Young Hotel, is the standard meeting point for visitors and the more international end of the local population. Built into the cannon-lined terrace of the old fort, with tables looking south across the bay, it is the obvious sundown spot in town.
The cocktail list leans on Dominica's rums; the bar food (fish cakes, conch fritters, pizza) is fine. Friday-night live bands tend to fill the place. Service can slow under cruise-ship pressure.
