Roseau is not a nightlife capital — the island skews towards early starts in the rainforest rather than late nights in town. But the waterfront has a few reliable bars (Fort Young's Warner's Bar is the visitor classic), and street-side rum shops in the back streets pour neat Macoucherie or Soca rums to a fraction of bar prices. Friday-night "jump-up" street parties at the Old Market or in nearby villages such as Mero are the real fun.
