Cocorico, on the corner of the Bayfront and Kennedy Avenue, is one of Roseau's most reliable lunch stops: a French-Caribbean bistro with shaded tables on the pavement and a small craft and book shop attached. The menu mixes crêpes and quiches with Creole staples — accras, callaloo soup, fish brochettes — and there is a good selection of Caribbean rums by the glass.
The owners run the place with a personal touch; the coffee is good and the iced ginger tea is the right answer in heavy heat. A good place to take a long break between sightseeing rounds.
