Casa de la Primera Imprenta de America stands on the site associated with the first printing press in the Americas, active in the 16th century. The restored building is now used by the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana for cultural events and exhibitions. It is a compact stop, but it adds a useful layer to a walk around the Zocalo, Templo Mayor, and the colonial core.
