Fuente de Cibeles is Mexico City's replica of Madrid's famous fountain, set in a busy roundabout between Roma Norte and Condesa. It is a small landmark rather than a destination in itself, but it works well as a meeting point before walking the nearby cafe streets.
The fountain also gives this corner a faintly Spanish feel. Local Spaniards have long used it as a gathering place for football celebrations and national days.
