Mayagüez has a real after-dark scene driven by the student population at the Colegio. Most of the late-night bars cluster around Calle Méndez Vigo and the streets a few blocks east of Plaza Colón. India brewery products dominate the taps; if you want something more interesting, a small craft-beer scene has grown up around the university.
