Teatro Vision is a San Jose theatre company whose work centres Chicano and Latino stories, a natural fit in a city where Mexican American culture is part of everyday life rather than a side note. Productions are often staged in community venues, with programming that mixes heritage, politics, and contemporary performance.
It is an event-based POI: check what is playing before you plan around it. When the timing works, it offers a more local evening than another tech-campus photo stop or generic downtown bar.
