Bay of Pigs Museum

Address 1821 SW 9th Street

The Brigade 2506 Museum, better known as the Bay of Pigs Museum, is a small, intensely personal collection documenting the failed 1961 CIA-backed invasion of Cuba. Run by veterans of the brigade and their families, the museum displays uniforms, weapons, photographs, personal letters, and a Cuban flag carried during the landing. It is a window into the exile community's defining trauma — the event that crystallised Miami's Cuban identity and its complicated relationship with Washington. Visits are by appointment.
