Maximo Gomez Park, better known as Domino Park, is one of Little Havana's classic street-life scenes. Older Cuban men gather here daily to play dominoes and cards under the shelter by Calle Ocho, while visitors watch from the edge and drift between cigar shops, cafes, and the Walk of Fame.
The park is small, so do not treat it like a long stop. It works best as part of a slow walk through Little Havana, especially in the late afternoon when Calle Ocho is busy but not yet too hot.
