Built in 1719 by William Trent, the merchant who gave the city its name, this is the oldest surviving house in Trenton. The Georgian brick manor sits just south of downtown on Warren Street, surrounded by what was once a much larger estate. It has been restored to its early 18th-century appearance and operates as a small house museum with period furnishings and guided tours.
The house stands in quiet contrast to the industrial and civic buildings nearby. Admission is modest — around $4 for adults — and tours run Wednesday through Sunday.
