Tributes and Traditions Arcade

Randy Senna's Tributes and Traditions arcade on the boardwalk near Schellenger Avenue is part-arcade, part-museum of vintage amusement-pier hardware. The owner, an obsessive collector, has filled the space with restored skee-ball lanes, Wurlitzer jukeboxes, and a working Fascination parlour — the last on the Jersey Shore.

The arcade does not advertise; you find it by wandering. Tokens are cheap and the staff are happy to explain how each machine works. Visit on a quieter afternoon when you can actually hear the bells.

A story
Fascination is a 1930s carnival game in which players roll rubber balls into holes to light up a row on a board, a sort of mechanical bingo. Tributes and Traditions is the last place on the Jersey Shore where it can still be played, and one of only a handful of working machines left in the country.
