ABQ BioPark is not a single attraction so much as a cluster of them along the Rio Grande: zoo, aquarium, botanic garden, and Tingley Beach. That makes it one of Albuquerque's most useful family stops, but it also works for adults interested in desert plants, river ecology, and Southwestern wildlife.
The zoo and garden are the strongest pieces for most visitors. Give it enough time rather than trying to dash through all four components, and check which entrance you need; the facilities sit close together but not all at the same gate.
