Tingley Beach is not an ocean beach, of course, but a set of ponds and paths along the Rio Grande within Albuquerque's BioPark system. It is popular for fishing, walking, and easy family time near the bosque.
Use it as a gentle outdoor stop between Old Town, the aquarium, and the riverside trails. The setting gives Albuquerque a quieter water-and-cottonwood mood than the desert views suggest.
