Hudson's main draw is Warren Street, a mile-long strip of antiques dealers, galleries, boutiques, and restaurants running east to west through downtown. Beyond the street itself, the city has a cluster of small museums, a nationally recognised contemporary arts venue, and easy access to the river. The Hudson Historic District — listed on the National Register — encompasses nearly the whole downtown, meaning the streetscapes themselves count as sights.
