Allegheny County Courthouse

Allegheny County Courthouse is a dramatic 1880s stone courthouse by H. H. Richardson, with a tower, heavy arches, and a courtyard that visitors can walk into during public hours. It remains a working government building, but its architecture makes it a worthwhile downtown stop.
