The Stephen Foster Memorial is a Gothic Revival building on the University of Pittsburgh campus that serves as a memorial, museum, and archive for the nineteenth-century songwriter Stephen Foster. Foster wrote songs such as "Oh! Susanna" and "My Old Kentucky Home," making him one of the best-known American popular songwriters of his time.
The building also contains theatre spaces used by the university. It is most worthwhile if you are already visiting Oakland's museums, the Cathedral of Learning, or the Carnegie complex nearby.
