The Warhola House is the family home where Andy Warhol lived for much of his childhood and young adulthood, long before he became the public face of Pop Art. It is a modest residential building, which is part of its appeal: the contrast with the downtown Andy Warhol Museum is sharp.
Come here for context rather than spectacle. It is most meaningful for travellers already interested in Warhol, Pittsburgh's immigrant neighbourhoods, or the ordinary places that shaped famous lives.
