Great Northern Railway Depot

A handsome brick-and-sandstone depot from the railroad era, the former Great Northern (later Burlington Northern) station sits at 1 Court Street downtown. Aberdeen had four railroads converging here at the turn of the 20th century — the source of its "Hub City" nickname — and the depot is the most intact survivor of that boom.

Listed on the National Register, it now houses the Aberdeen Convention and Visitors Bureau. Pop in for maps and local recommendations; the interior retains the original woodwork and ticket windows.
