Provo Tunnels

Beneath downtown Provo, a network of century-old tunnels — originally constructed for utilities — has been repurposed as a quirky arts and small-business district. Artists, makers, and a few restaurants have set up in the arched brick spaces, creating one of the more unusual commercial districts in Utah. The tunnels are accessible from street-level entrances near Center Street.

It is genuinely offbeat and worth 30 minutes of exploration — partly for the businesses, partly for the atmosphere of the space itself, and partly because this kind of adaptive reuse is rare in Utah cities.
