A small but genuine museum at the top of Hogback Mountain on Route 9. The core collection is the Luman R. Nelson mounts — over 600 specimens of North American birds and mammals assembled by a Vermont taxidermist in the early 20th century — including most species native to the region.
The museum also keeps a small population of live owls, hawks, and a corn snake. Suitable for families with kids; allow about an hour.
