Viña's food scene runs from cheap seafood shacks at the fishing cove of Caleta Abarca to expensive restaurants along the seafront and in Reñaca. The reliable choice in any season is fresh fish: corvina, congrio, reineta, machas, locos. Chilean wines — particularly white from the nearby Casablanca Valley — are everywhere and reasonably priced.
Reñaca, a short bus ride north along the coast, has a denser concentration of restaurants and bars than central Viña and is where locals tend to go in the evening.
