A protected patch of cloud forest on the hills above Pereira, laced with well-maintained hiking trails. The forest is dense and surprisingly wild for being so close to the city — howler monkeys crash through the canopy, and birding is good, especially early morning.
Several trails loop through the park, ranging from easy strolls to steeper climbs that open up to panoramic views over the Central Cordillera and the Otun River valley. Entry is about 15,000 COP. Bring water and expect mud after rain.
