A green city block in the centre of Pereira, a few minutes' walk west of Plaza de Bolivar. The park is shaded by old trees and has fountains, benches, and a children's play area. It fills up in the late afternoon with families, vendors selling arepas and tinto coffee, and groups of older men playing chess and dominoes.
The surrounding streets are some of the more pleasant in central Pereira to walk, with a mix of small shops, juice bars, and bakeries. Not a major sight but a useful pause when you have been on your feet downtown.
