The city's central square and commercial heart. The main attraction is the Bolivar Desnudo, a famously naked equestrian statue of Simon Bolivar. The cathedral on the square looks plain from outside but has elegant mosaics, roof paintings, and chandeliers inside. Plenty of restaurants and cafes surround the plaza.
