The "Dent de Man" — Man's Tooth — is one of the most distinctive landforms in western Ivory Coast: a steep, tooth-shaped mountain that rises abruptly 15km northeast of town. It is immediately recognisable from a distance and the hike to the top is steep but rewarding, with good views over the surrounding hills and farmland. The ascent requires some effort but no technical climbing. A guide from Man is useful for navigating the trails.
