The hills and natural sites around Man are the reason to make the journey here. The waterfalls, peaks, and the striking Dent de Man offer rewarding half-day and full-day excursions. Equally compelling are the liana bridges and the Dan/Yacouba mask culture — among the most distinctive traditions in West Africa. Man also makes a good base for day trips into the surrounding villages and rural landscapes of western Ivory Coast.
