The town itself is navigable on foot or by moto-taxi (zémidjan) — the standard short-haul transport across Ivory Coast. For trips to the waterfalls and mountains, hire a taxi from the town centre; agree on a price and waiting time before setting out. The road to La Cascade and Mount Tonkoui is paved for most of its length. The track to the Dent de Man is rougher and better suited to a motorcycle or 4WD, particularly after rain. Some trails in the hills are passable only in the dry season.
