Feng Xiaogang Movie Town is a film-studio and theme-park attraction outside central Haikou, built around recreated streetscapes from different periods of 20th-century China. It is theatrical by design, with facades, sets, shops, and performance spaces arranged for strolling and photography.
The site is best for travellers who enjoy film sets, retro urban scenes, or family-oriented attractions. It is less about old Haikou itself than about a stylised version of Chinese screen memory.
