Dongtian Park, also known as Daxiao Dongtian, is a coastal scenic area west of Sanya where Taoist associations meet sea cliffs, caves, palms, and old stone inscriptions. It offers a more historic and ceremonial coastline than the city's resort beaches.
The park is easy to fold into a western Sanya day with Nanshan or Tianya Haijiao. Go for a walkable mix of ocean views, small shrines, and weathered rocks rather than untouched nature. It is a managed scenic area, but the setting is strong enough to carry the visit.
