Sanya Natural History Museum is a small fossil museum near Dongtian Park, west of central Sanya. Its collection focuses mostly on fossils from elsewhere in China, with the complete fossil of a Sanya pterosaur as the headline piece.
It works best as an extra stop when visiting Dongtian Park or Nanshan. Do not expect a large museum, but the fossil displays add variety to a western Sanya day.
