Baihuayuan Gardens is a small, tree-filled park near Qingdao's old city sights. It was once a foreign cemetery, destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and has since been remade as a quiet garden with sculptures of writers, artists, and revolutionaries.
It is not one of Qingdao's headline stops, but it works well as a pause between the beach, hill parks, and German-era streets nearby.
