A seaside park tucked between the coastline and the old German quarter, named after Lu Xun, the writer widely regarded as the father of modern Chinese literature. The park was built in 1929 and sits on a stretch of rocky shoreline with views across to Little Qingdao Island and its lighthouse.
The park is a pleasant place to walk, with pine-shaded paths winding between red rock formations and tidal pools. A small museum dedicated to Lu Xun sits inside the grounds. The rocky beach below is popular with locals collecting shellfish at low tide, and the views along the coast toward the No. 1 Bathing Beach are worth the stroll.
