Shanghai's main concentration of contemporary art galleries, in a complex of disused textile mills along Suzhou Creek. Around fifty galleries and studios spread over a few blocks — quality varies wildly but the best (ShanghART, Eastlink, Island6) are first-rate. Free to wander; allow a half day.
