Across the Beas from Kullu town, on the slope above Bhekhli village, sits the temple of Jagannathi Devi — a small wooden shrine that gives one of the best overhead views of the valley floor. The walk up takes about an hour through a mix of orchards and pine.
The temple itself is modest — a stone image, a few bells, a caretaker family. The point is the route and the view from the top. Locals make the walk for blessings before weddings and exams; outsiders mostly come for the sunrise.
