Daria Daulat Bagh is Tipu Sultan's summer palace at Srirangapatna, north of Mysore. Built in teak in 1784 and set in a formal garden, it now serves as a museum on Tipu's life and the battles that made this small island town one of Karnataka's key historic stops.
