Gumbaz is the domed mausoleum of Hyder Ali, his wife Fakr-Un-Nisa, and Tipu Sultan at Srirangapatna. The polished black-granite pillars, painted interior, and quiet garden make it one of the more atmospheric stops on the Mysore-Srirangapatna circuit.
